THE BISCUIT OF YESTERYEAR
Reflecting on 2003…
Thanks
to everyone who joined us for the Grinders Switch Music Jam and Poker Run at
The Annual Tye Dye Festival was August 8-10
last year. Whiskey Biscuit headlined again and brought the house down as usual ! We had a
great “Biscuits in the Oven Tour 2003”.
The
Biscuit ROCKED in 2003. We had a whole new repertoire of classics from the 60's
70's and 80's for your rocking enjoyment. Thanks to everyone who came to our
show at the Mystery City Stage on June 7. We really appreciated the wonderful
audience enthusiasm ! We had a great time too!
We
volunteered our time for the American Cancer Society again last year for their
annual Cancer walk on June 14. The show started at 7:00 pm at the Franklin High
School on Hillsboro Road. That was a great chance to come out and see a Biscuit
show (for free!!!) Williamson County
Sheriff Rickey Headley and others made for a great evening of various musical
styles.
REMEMBER 2002 ?
The Halloween 2002 Show was a blast. Thanks to those who participated.
Our Halloween show is always a bunch of fun, but this year's shows were the most get down good time fun we have ever had. It seemed as though every one of our fan club members made it out to see us on Friday or Saturday, and some came on both nights. Even the legendary Uncle Dave made it out all the way from Ellsinore, MO.
The costumes were fantastic on Saturday night and Carolyn was kind enough to offer prizes for the best dressed man's outfit and woman's outfit. The decision was tough but the audience decided that Ronnie Lynn with his siamese man/woman outfit was tops. In the women's category the "grandma dice" lady barely edged out the biker babe in a tough audience decision.
We would like to thank Greg, Uncle Dave, John R., Chasity, Terry, Eddie, Evonne, Gail, Howard, Lori W., Carolyn, Layla, Renee, Moose, Dee and B.D., Heather, Marion, Val, Wesley, Ronnie Lynn, Will Franklin, etc. etc. etc. for coming out to jam with us. You guys are the greatest fans in the world and we wouldn't trade ya for nothin'.
